Hi, I’m Mike.
A brand strategist that’s fascinated by behavioral science.
I help brands earn a place in people’s lives by understanding how we think, decide, and care.
I’ve been lucky to work with some incredible brands over different stops at agencies in NYC, Boston and Chicago.
Right now I’m a VP Brand Strategy Director, mentoring teammates, and shaping strategy on some of Leo Burnett’s most iconic clients.
I lead brand strategy for Papa Johns, sharpening its challenger edge in a category dominated by scale players. The ambition is to prove a real dedication to “better” and build cultural relevance at the pace the category demands.
My previous work includes global creative and sponsorship strategy for Bank of America tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the Boston Marathon, along with culture-tapping campaign work for Kellogg’s iconic cereal brands.
Previously, I was a Brand Strategy Director at Saatchi & Saatchi leading a multi-agency and discipline strategy team.
Working with USAA to position and drive demand for insurance and banking products that support our troops, veterans, and their families.
Consulting on a variety of new business efforts, including a global pitch for Subway.
I started my career working in account management, learning the X’s and O’s.
I was a hungry assistant account executive in New York City, staying in cheap sublet apartments, learning how to manage budgets, timelines, and shoots. It taught me the ins and outs of the business.
But my true passion is creativity. I’m a writer. A musician. A builder.
And I’m at my best when I can apply creativity to ideas, businesses, or products that make the world a better place.
